Sukumar has 20 years in advertising. 12 of which he worked with some of the top ranked agencies in India - JWT, Enterprise Nexus, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB Mudra and Leo Burnett. He particularly cherishes his stint at Enterprise Nexus in the initial years - the creative hotbed where most creatives wanted to work. So did most clients. Being able to learn the craft under the legendary Mohammad Khan was an experience he will never forget. He has worked on brands across diverse categories - Raymond, Economic Times, CNBC, VIP Luggage, MetLife, TVS, Reliance Communications, Reliance Energy, Reliance Capital, Reliance Life Insurance, SBI, HPCL, Heinz, TATA Salt to name some. Having worked closely with majority of his clients, launching their brands and gaining their confidence, he gained some in himself to venture out on his own. So in Jan 2009 Black Swan Life was born. Inspired by the book (The Black Swan) he felt the theory fitted the business of creativity like a glove - Creative solutions without a past precedent that deliver a multiplier effect in the market.
